Quick Start Machine Sewing:

Do you own a machine that is still sitting in the box? Bring it in to learn how to operate your sewing machine or you can learn on our machines that are provided in class. You will learn the correct way to wind a bobbin, how to thread your machine and the proper way to operate the machine to keep from losing your thread. You will learn and have time in the class to do straight seaming, pivoting and sewing curves, then you will put what you’ve learned to make a small project. We will also teach you basic maintenance to keep your machine running smoothly. Once you have mastered the machine, we recommend that you continue your learning in our Open Level Sewing classes. All materials needed for this class are included in the cost.

You will quilt the layers together using a walking foot and then learn how to bind off the edges.

*You must already know how to sew before taking this class.

-one dark color

-one medium color

-one light color

-low loft batting

Tools needed:
